Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and password. You may sign in with email or a Google account; if you use Google sign-in, we receive your Google account email address and name.
- Profile content. The name, bio, links, categories, social links, appearance settings and images you add to your Hubpage.
- Usage data. Anonymous page-view and click events on public pages, described under Page analytics below.
- Support and feedback. If you send feedback through the in-app form, we store your message and your account reference so we can respond.
Public Hubpage pages
Public pages at hubpage.io addresses are, by their nature, visible to anyone with the link. Anything you publish on your page — your display name, bio, links and images — can be viewed and shared by visitors. Do not publish information you would not want public.
Some accounts set their own additional privacy link for forms on their page. That link describes how that account handles the information it collects; this policy describes how Hubpage handles its own data.
Your account and profile
We use your account information to operate the service: to sign you in, to keep your page working, to administer your plan and to send service-related email such as sign-up confirmation and password resets. Admin features on the site are limited to accounts with the admin role.
Page analytics
When someone visits a public Hubpage page or clicks a link on it, the page owner sees aggregate counts: page views, link clicks and similar totals. Events are recorded against an anonymous session identifier stored in an HttpOnly cookie that contains no personal information and is not linked to a signed-in account. We do not attempt to identify individuals through these events.
Email audience
- Visitors can subscribe to a Hubpage owner's email audience only by actively checking an explicit consent box. Nobody is subscribed automatically.
- We record evidence of the consent (the form context, the IP address at signup, and the time) so the consent can be demonstrated later.
- Every audience email carries a working unsubscribe link. When someone unsubscribes, their record is kept as a suppression entry so they are not added again; the unsubscribe link itself uses a token stored only in hashed form.
- Page owners can export their subscriber list. They are responsible for the choices they make with it.
Interactive experiences
Polls, quizzes, this-or-that formats, product finders and branching adventures may run on a page. Answers are validated and scored on our servers; where a page shows crowd results, those are returned as anonymous counts. If an experience asks for your contact details, the consent box is explicit and optional, and the page owner receives the submission.
Payments
Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We receive your plan and subscription status from Stripe but we do not store your card details on our servers; card handling stays with Stripe under its own policies. If you receive a gifted plan, we record that grant on your account.
Uploads
Images you upload — such as your avatar or header image — are stored in private storage and delivered through time-limited signed links rather than public file listings. Anyone who loads your public page still sees the images you chose to display.
Data retention
Your account and page content are kept while your account is active. Unsubscribed audience records are kept as suppression entries so the same address is not re-added. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your account data, and content that depended on it, as part of that process.
Your choices and contact
You can update or delete your profile content, links and audience settings in your dashboard at any time. For anything else about this policy — including a copy of the information kept for your account, a correction, or deletion — contact the site owner at ccherlet@gmail.com.
